Let's talk about food

Food has been many Singaporeans' fav' topic.  I am no exceptional, food is my everyday topic. Talk about where to find nice food, how to make nice food myself, share with friends and family.

Okie, let talk about this today.  It makes me happy and high, haha...

I very enjoy sitting together with family members, having meal and making conversation at the same time.  This is the time for bonding, updating and fighting for the favourite part of the food.  Whenever mummy cooks pork cutlet with sweet and sour sauce.  The siblings and I will be fighting to search for the border parts of the meat because it is the tastiest part and crunchiest of all.  I know it's rude to have such manner on the table, but it develops since when we were young where all the border parts of the meat are too delicious to resist.  Another dish which I love mummy to cook for us is the spare ribs with black vinegar sauce.  Mum first deep fried the spare ribs, then she will separately cook the sauce  which  I don't know the receipe of it :(.  Okie, I will try to find out these days if she cook again.  Oh, I miss it so much.  The secret of this dish is to find the small spare ribs.  They are more tender and tastier.  Even my nieces love it.  O man, I love home-cooked food.

Next, share with you some places where the nice food are.
There is this old Perankan at Katong, a traditional restuarant has been there for many years.  The interior deco is retro and the ambience is warmly.  It is a good place to chat and enjoy food.  What is good there?  Otah, their home-made is splendid, 1 big piece  filled with the fish meat and fragant otah smell.  If you like sour, try their assam fish, very appetitizing.

Another place to recommend is the Harbour Cafe at Tanjong Pagar.  Good place for gathering and the western food is 3 stars and above.  This the place where I first drink Eringer beer, like it on the very instant.  Should try it, worth to drink.  I like the mash potato and the sausages.  Soft and tender.  There are other western mix eastern food like pork cutlet with rice, celine likes it.
