FOH - Da Dai Ji

U know what's dramabox?  Dramabox is a mandrain theatre organisation, been ard for more than 10 yrs.  I knew about them when my poly times, and after 8 yrs + i start to look out for them recently.  Happened when Ying ask me to watch the "Da Dai Ji" by dramabox, which I couldn't make it.  Just I surf their website, joined their mailing list and signed for volunteer work.

Coincidence that Ying's younger sis, Jiayi is an intern for dramabox and co-ordinate for FOH preparation work.  So I volunteered for 2 days consecutively this week, doing ticketing and ushering.  It was fun, and missed the days in poly doing such activities with dramagrp.  Fortunately, i got to see the show as well for 1 night.   O, the show held @Arthouse (old parliament), I quite like the place and ambience there.  But the aircon unit din work well for 1 of the show, maybe becos the top level is under renovation work.

The gathering took place at my home on 8 Feb, so I'm in-charge of the food we ate.  I'm glad and honor to hold the gathering at my place, and saw my friends enjoyed the food and jolly chatting together at the dinning table.  Though there was quite a lot of cleaning to be done.  But I enjoyed to host for it.

The gals complimented Tiong-san's cutting skills was good when they saw the fish cut in even pieces.  My most proud were the marinaded chicken and pork shabu, the flavour was just nice.  I marinaded them with 2 tablespoon of hua tiao wine, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil.  Leave it overnight in the fridge.  The next day just added the bbq sauce/teriyaki sauce in 1-2 hrs  advance.

Specially thanks to ying, yun, celine, kaixuan, qb and fabian for finishing the food completely, including the less popular tang oh.  

P.S to Qb, U must eat more veg, it's no good u din cosume veg, no fibre hard to slim down.

VDay post

We spent in a simple manner.  Went to hortpark, walked all the way to Vivocity trailing on the southern ridges path for the morning.  Such coincidence, met up old frens married on Vday.   We took a photo together to our unique met-up.  Congrats to the newly wed, Yinghao and Liqing.  Had a sushi tei dinner at east coast park.  As usual everywhere was crowded.  

No present was given, but I prepared a japanese cheesecake 

and he made us french toast in the morning for breakfast.  Simple sweetness or simple nice tots.

F4, F4, seen taiwan version, tot jap will be about the same. No, I'm attracted to the characters, though storyline more or less there, but shorter and faster pace. The characters were fresher, more outstanding and more focus. Of course, I get to know who are the current jap hot artitises. In fact, I prefer Japan version than taiwan or korean.


Gokusen reminds me of Onizuka. Similar stories but different kind teacher. I enjoyed school dramas as always.


Detective dramas were interesting to watch too. The intelligent ones are always cool, attractive and weird. Their sidekicks are clumsy or silly or comically funny. Anywhere, it's something about science. Galileo and Detective Connan are highly recommended.
